About V0

What is V0?

v0 is Vercel's AI frontend generator. It produces React, Next.js, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui code from text or Figma prompts, and it's tightly integrated into the Vercel ecosystem: one-click deploys, Git-panel workflow, and the same auth as the rest of your Vercel account.

v0 launched in beta in October 2023, reached general availability in late 2024, and rebranded from v0.dev to v0.app as part of a major v2 update in February 2026. It's used by around 6 million developers and 80,000 active teams, with production-grade frontend output as its main strength. Backend support is lighter and typically wired up through external integrations in Vercel's marketplace.

Stripe is available as a few-click integration, but there's no guided billing setup flow. What v0 doesn't ship: customer wallets, usage-based billing, real-time spend limits, or a customer-facing billing portal.

Customer portal

A branded billing experience you don't need to build

Give your customers the billing experience they expect. The fully managed Credyt portal handles top-ups, balance tracking, and usage history.

Then add billing components to your own UI with a single prompt. No frontend engineering, no backend, no webhooks.

Pricing models

Which pricing models can I use with V0?

V0 doesn't include billing. You shipped your app, then hit billing and it stopped being simple. Stripe is complex. You just want something that works.

Credyt is a drop-in billing solution, just a prompt away. Start with the model that makes sense today. Change it later without touching your code.

Not sure what to charge yet? Start with a simple fixed fee subscription. Then track your usage costs from day one so you know if your pricing needs to change.

Set up your pricing in Credyt

Open a new chat in V0 and paste this prompt. It installs the Credyt AI skills, then walks you through choosing a pricing model and configures your products automatically.

Run "npx skills add credyt/ai-tools" — then setup Credyt
3

Integrate the billing UX

Paste this prompt. V0 wires up billing components, including a balance display, directly in your app. For the full portal experience, direct your users to your Credyt billing portal where they can view usage and top up.

Integrate Credyt billing into my app

Frequently asked questions

Connect Credyt to your V0 project by adding the Credyt MCP server under Settings → MCP Connections → Add MCP. Then run two prompts: one to configure your pricing model, and one to wire the billing portal into your app. V0 handles the integration — no backend, no SDK, no manual code.
